Not just any breath. Do it like your soul depends on one elongated breath from deep in your belly. Repeat. Again. Thusly engaged, allow your sight to relax, beholding the space around you while releasing your focus from anything in particular. Nothing in your field of vision is more important than whatever else. Continue for some time. Your eyes will keep trying to focus. Relax them again as needed
Now: breathe in (still from the belly) while comfortably slowly counting to 4. Hold your breath in likewise to 4. Breathe out the same to 4. Hold your breath out just so to 4. Repeat. You may close your eyes now if you wish. Yes, your pickled and desperate monkeymind is acting up. Whatever. Repeat, bump the cycle up to 5 seconds each
Do this a while and then return to the deep slow ones
